7th Award for Communication in the Life Sciences

The European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) invites entries for its 7th Award for Communication in the Life Sciences.
The Award is presented annually to a practising life scientist in Europe who has made an outstanding contribution to the communication of science for the public. It consists of a personal award of 5,000 Euro and a silver and gold medal.
Entries are accepted as self-applications, or as nominations by a third-party, and must be submitted by 1 May 2008.

The Faculty of Bioethics of the "Ateneo Pontificio Regina Apostolorum", Via Aldebrandeschi 190, Rome, announces a 3 Lectures Course by Edmund Pellegrino, to be held in Rome, on April 19, 20 and 21 under the title: "Back to the roots to reveal the future".
Professor Pellegrino is chairman of the Council of Bioethics of the President of the United States, founder of the Centre of Clinical Ethics of Georgetown University, and member of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Bioethics of Regina Apostolorum.
